CERAMICS
All of the ceramic work shown here was produced in the fall of 1998. They were fired in very simple kilns or in pits with wood and charcoal. All of the coloration is due to the clay color or affects of the fire on the clay. In some cases materials in the ash from the fire has left a thin glaze.
All the images were produced using an O-limp-pus D320L digital camera under halogen light. Unfortunatly the camera skewed the color slightly.
Special thanks to John Milligan at UTWE for the proving grounds and Ron Cueto for the camera time!
